Mark your calendars for January 21st! Dr. Mike Johnson will teach a class on how to choose the best workout show. Do you need a different shoe for walking, running, biking, or aerobics? Are the most expensive shoes really better? What do you look for so that you can avoid injuries? He also has a cool little machine that we can step on that will show us how our foot steps and what kind of shoe our foot needs. It'll be great!
-In January and February we are going to have some social dance classes. The tentative dates have been previously posted. When I get our instructor and have the dates firmed up I will let you know. I'm just telling you now, so that you can emotionally prepare your husband. Once we learn the dances, I think it would be a super fun way to get a work out in. The high school is doing a Jazz Band Dance on February 19. (more details when it gets closer) A lot of women have said, "I would love to, but I couldn't get my husband there!" Well, here are some Tips for getting your husband to come: You can assure him that no one will make him wear tights or sequins of any kind, in fact we hope he doesn't. He can feel free to wear a football jersey and logger boots, however. (Hunting garb and army fatigues would also be good choices.) Remind him that he'll get to hold your hand all night. If that doesn't work, play the Valentine's Day card and tell him that all you want for Valentine's Day is to dance with him. How romantic - huh? If all else fails, tell him my husband will call him to speak in Stake Conference if he doesn't come! (Just kidding!) Be sure to promise him lots of kisses! Good Luck!
